My stay at The Lodge was absolutely perfect in every way. The beautiful homely atmosphere, combined with a delicious homemade cake on arrival, made me feel truly welcome. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom with its fabulous power shower was a luxurious treat. They provided everything I needed, from a variety of hot and cold drinks to an array of toiletries. The location was ideal, just a short walk from the center of town but quiet at night. I cannot recommend The Lodge enough, and I can't wait to stay there again.

I had a wonderful stay at The Lodge! The personal touches were amazing - from the delicious homemade muffins and chocolates to the cozy robes and nice decor. The location was great, with a private entrance to Victoria Park, and it was much closer to the center than I expected. The bed was super comfortable and everything was clean and tidy. I especially appreciated the coffee machine and the little treats left for us. I highly recommend The Lodge for a fantastic holiday experience.

The room was clean and comfortable, with thoughtful extras like homemade cake on arrival and complimentary toiletries in the bathroom. The location was great, close to the town center and easy walking distance to attractions. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed.
The village was shut on a Monday, so there weren't many options for dining or entertainment. It would have been better if there were more options available during our stay.

I recently stayed at The Lodge for a short visit to Holmfirth. The location was ideal, just a short stroll to the town center, and having parking available was a huge bonus. The lodge itself was small but perfectly presented and impeccably clean. The extra touches and welcoming feel set it apart from other places I've stayed. I was impressed by the homemade goodies, juices, and robes provided. The bed was incredibly comfortable, I even searched online to try and find one for my own home. The central location near bars, shops, and cafes was also a plus. I will definitely be returning here in the future whenever possible.
Totally recommend this hotel.

What a gem! The Lodge offered very nice value for money with its cozy and well-appointed rooms. The location was ideal, tucked away near a lovely park yet still close to the village. The hosts were good and always available if needed. Highly recommended!
The hotel breakfast menu could benefit from more variety and options.

The fresh cakes, orange juice, and apple and elderflower drinks were a lovely touch. the location of the property couldn't be better - right in the heart of the town. We were able to easily explore and enjoy the restaurants and cafes in the area. On top of that, the owner, Cathy, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and even checked in on us personally.
The parking situation was a bit challenging. Although there was an allocated parking space, it required backing through a narrow gateway on a steep hill.
